Seed Library

We are excited to offer a variety of vegetable, fruit, herb, and flower seeds for use by library patrons. The Seed Library is powered by donations and the return of seeds once your plants have been harvested. The Seed Library is housed in the library's Adult Services Department.

How the Seed Library Works

  • Take as many seeds as you would like.

  • Write down which plants you've selected on our check-out form.

  • Grow your plants!

  • (Optional)

    • Once you've harvested your plants, remember to place your seeds in cool, dry storage.

    • When you're ready, place your seeds in an envelope, label the envelope with the seed type and date.

    • Bring the envelope to the library.
