Need a library card?

Those who live, work, own a business, or attend school within Orion Township are eligible for a library card. See our Library Card Policy for more details about card types and their associated service privileges.

Materials can also be checked out by anyone with a current library card from any Library Network (TLN) member library or the Troy Public Library (TPL). TLN and TPL member patrons must present their home library card and proof of address before items can be checked out.

A person whose permanent residence is outside the service area of Orion Township or the Village of Lake Orion, who does not work or own property in said service area, and is not a resident of a community entitled to reciprocal borrowing privileges through TLN membership is a non-resident. An annual Non-Resident library card may be purchased for a fee set by the Orion Township Public Library Board of Trustees.
