New Little Free Libraries Around Town
Our Little Free Libraries have gotten a facelift! After years of usage, several of our Little Free Libraries were beginning to show signs of their age. Thanks to our maintenance team and the Lake Orion Hydra Dragons Robotics team, you can now take a book or leave a book from one of our newly constructed Little Free Libraries.
In addition to our existing locations, which can be found listed on our website, new libraries have been installed at Swiss Village Park, Unger Park, outside of the senior entrance at the Orion Recreation Center, and at the Playful Dragon Pocket Park on Baldwin Road. The Lake Orion Hydra Dragons – the robotics team made up of students from all three LOCS middle schools – generously donated their time and skills to construct two of the new Little Free Libraries and will be responsible for keeping the new Dragon Pocket Park and ORC locations stocked with books for your enjoyment. We encourage you to check out our new locations and take a book, share a book.
