Fall Book Sale: A Special Invitation for Educators

As we say goodbye to warm summer nights and welcome crisp autumn leaves, we also welcome a new school year for the teachers, staff, and students in our community!

While teachers are preparing their classrooms and students are searching for the perfect backpack, the Friends of the Orion Township Public Library are busy getting ready for their Fall Book Sale.

The sale officially opens to the public on Tuesday, September 22, but we have a special invitation for our amazing local educators! On Monday, September 21, from 3–7 p.m., teachers, school staff, paraprofessionals, and other education professionals are invited to get a first look at the sale and shop early for books to fill their classroom libraries. 

Whether you're looking for picture books, chapter books, puzzles, nonfiction, or something special to add to your classroom collection, we hope you'll stop by and see what treasures you can find!

Fall Book Sale Schedule

Monday (Sept. 21) – Pre-Sale for Teachers – 3-7pm

Tuesday (Sept. 22) – Pre-Sale for Friends’ Members and Teachers – 10am-4:30pm / General Sale – 4:30pm-8:30pm

Wednesday (Sept. 23) – General Sale – 10am-8:30pm

Thursday (Sept. 24) – General Sale – 10am-8:30pm

Friday (Sept. 25) – Half Off Day – 10am-4:30pm

Saturday (Sept. 26) – $5 Bag Day – 9:30am-1:30pm
